The Cottonwood Project Entry Reveal

The Cottonwood Project Entry Reveal

Design

Welcome back to the Cottonwood Project! We’ve already shown you the kitchen, dining room, and primary bathroom spaces and today we’re continuing our tour with the entry. Come on in with us!

We love how an entry can truly mark the type of style that you can find as you walk into a home and the Cottonwood Project entry is no exception!

This entry features some old-world elements, such as the flooring, to more modern elements, like with the light fixture. Then by adding in other elements and details, it all comes together to make this really fun juxtaposed look.

Another modern detail I love in this space is the pop of the black wall. This was a really fun way to accent the double-story wall full of amazing windows.

A fun surprise element in this space is the magical bookshelf. It goes into a secret entry nook where there are games and a reading nook behind the staircase.

The piano adds a pop of personality to this entry. It’s charming, vintage, and functional which makes it fun and also makes you feel like the entry can feel understated, yet beautiful at the same time. You just want to walk in and play the keys!

Another fun element in this space is the mirror that bounces the light around the room, from the windows to the mirror to the front entry doors, there’s so much natural light that adds so much captivating beauty in this space.

This entry certainly sets the tone for the rest of this home and we hope this space gave you inspiration for your entry. Photos by the talented Alison Woomer.
