Exterior Trends Inspiring Us On Pinterest

Did you know that we also work on exterior renovation projects? We’re an A-Z design company, which means that we do it all - from new builds, exterior or interior renovations, to furnishings and accessories. Today, we’re sharing some of the exteriors that have been inspiring us the most on Pinterest.

BLACK, MOODY EXTERIORS

While we will always love a white brick for a timeless look, lately, moody exteriors are having a moment. A black paint job is a great way to make a statement, especially for those that love a modern look.

METAL ROOFS

Not only are metal roofs durable and long-lasting, they also add great design impact and drama to your home.

NAVY BLUE PAINT

Want to have a moody exterior, but aren’t ready to commit to black? Navy blue might be a great option for you then! It’s modern and trendy, while being a little warmer than something darker. Check out Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy - it’s one of our favorites!

SOFT NATURAL WHITES

We are also loving homes in soft natural white tones that aren’t as jarring as the bright whites. We love seeing warmth added with copper or wood accents and metal roofs. Sherwin-Williams’ Shoji White has been one of our favorite go-to’s lately. And while it may not quite be Pinterest-worthy yet, we’ve included one of our current builds where we’re incorporating this gorgeous look.

PLAYING INTO YOUR ENVIRONMENT

We love getting to play into the local charm of an area. Whether it’s building with a Mediterranean influence that you find so prevalent in California, or the rustic custom cabin we’re working on in Broken Bow, borrowing from your surroundings is a great way to inspire your exterior.
