Specializing in "New Traditional" design, our projects feature timeless details with a modern flair that will never go out of style. Our company has grown quickly over the past few years and we traded our 1,000 sq ft space for a brand new 10,000 sq ft studio & retail store in Carrollton, TX. With hundreds of furniture & decor items in-stock at our HS store, we're able to offer our clients competitive pricing and fast delivery. So whether you need help with something as small as a furniture refresh or are looking to dive in and build your dream home, no project is too big or too small.

Meet Heather & Tyson

Co-Owners

House Sprucing is led by husband and wife duo Heather and Tyson Fujikawa. Since getting married in 2007, they’ve been designing their homes together as they’ve moved all around the world from Los Angeles, CA to Verona, Italy to their current home in Dallas, TX. Throughout the years, they've shared their home transformations on social media which led to national and international media recognition and the opportunity to co-star in their own cable tv show, Design Twins, which currently streams on Amazon Prime. Inspired by their travels, the Fujikawa's have built their design business on the foundation of joyful living with the overall goal of designing spaces where their clients can thrive.

With over 125,000 followers on Instagram, House Sprucing has quickly become a leader in the industry and a source of inspiration. Within the last few years, Heather, Tyson and their talented team have serviced over 200 homes across the nation in over 20 states (and even Canada!) and have been featured by Elle Decor, Better Homes and Gardens, D Magazine, Veranda, MyDomaine, Fox News, Martha Stewart, Today.com, TV Guide and many other notable publications.

In addition to being business owners, Heather and Tyson are also parents to four busy kids. Outside of work, they enjoy immersing themselves in their family, all things local to Dallas and find inspiration through their travels.

House Sprucing exists to bring inspired design and joyful living to homes across the country through elevated new construction, remodels, furniture and design. Together with their team, the Fujikawa’s bring life to this trade through their engaging, positive, and inspiring voices in the design industry.
