Welcome to the Media room at the Rockwood Project. We are so excited to share this space with you. There is something so special about creating a flex space that really celebrates gathering, downtime and comfort. This was achieved in this space with beautiful construction details as well as amazing furniture and accessories. At House Sprucing we really love taking a project from A to Z. We were able to help this amazing family with construction details from the beginning of their new construction process to the finish out of their new home, all the way to the furnishings and accessories of this space.
Something that was really cool was to celebrate the beautiful wall of windows that you usually don’t see in a media room. Typically a media room doesn’t have windows, but it is really cool this one does because it allows you to see the beautiful greenery outside. We were able to create some smart solutions with beautiful window treatments that add a texture to the space and functionality to the room to be able to draw those down when watching TV or a Movie in this space.
As you walk from the living room to the media room, you are welcomed with beautiful detail with shelving on each side of the sliding doors. The cabinets really frame out this room with these sliding doors as you walk into this, it is a very experience driven design with a floating TV console and a unique accent wall that was painted black. We also love the modern vibes that were given to this space with beautiful wall sconces and an asymmetrical hanging light fixture.
We had a lot of fun adding texture with furnishings and accessories in this space. You can see the beautiful rug has monochromatic detailing, with a just right comfort that does not overpower the space, but complements the black accent wall perfectly.
We love how the elongated coffee table really complements this L shaped sectional that lends itself to a functional and well designed space that people can truly have comfort in and make it a useful space for entertaining as well.
This sectional is one of our House Sprucing favorite upholstered pieces. It is ultra comfortable and customizable. You can touch, see, feel our beautiful products and furnishings in our new store in Dallas and we are also able to ship these out across the nation as well.
