This new construction home has been in the works for quite some time now (check out our Avalon Project Instagram Highlight to follow the progress of this home) and we’re so excited to finally be filling this beautiful A to Z project with furnishings, accessories and window treatments to compliment the amazing design selections and details that are carried throughout the home. INSPIRED BY: SLAB YARDS VISIT
We recently took a trip to the slab yards with one of our clients to select the prettiest countertops for their large scale A to Z new construction home. It was so much fun having our clients along during this visit so they they could see all of the selections in-person and really get a feel for all of the details - take a peek at below at some of the dreamy countertops we picked out for their project!
One of our favorite tips when designing a space is mixing countertops. By mixing countertops you can easily add a pop of contrast to the space to add more depth to the overall design. For example, if you’re going with a black granite on the perimeter of the kitchen, consider doing a white porcelain with a black vein for the island that differentiates the two but works together to blend the overall design.
