We are so excited and grateful to be helping with Mindy McKnights’ lake house. Mindy is a dear friend and it’s always such a treat to work with her on her design projects as a team! This past week we had a big furniture install at her lake home where we brought in all kinds of furnishings, rugs & accessories from the HS Store to bring her space to life just in time for summer. This project moved quickly and we were able to furnish her entire space in just around 8 weeks which is one of the many amazing perks about shopping with us through the HS Store! INSPIRED BY: A GIRLS TRIP TO TULUM
I recently traveled to Tulum for a fun girls weekend where we were able to celebrate a long time friend and amazing team member, Roxanne, who has helped us with all things PR both at HS and throughout the years with our various companies. Roxanne has brought so many incredible opportunities to the table for us through her work and we are so grateful to have her as an extension of our team! My twin sister, Heidi, was also able to make the trip along with a few other friends and it was just such a special weekend away with a fun group of girls!
Tulum is a beautiful boutique beach city in Mexico and of course I was over the moon just swooning at all of the incredible design and inspiration at every turn. From cluster pendant lights and natural colorways to textures and details that celebrate the surroundings, every design element was so intentional and created the most beautiful atmosphere everywhere we went.
One of my favorite moments that I was inspired by was our incredible AirBNB. It had a modern design inspired by Mexican culture and so many statement details carried throughout that worked together to create the ultimate spa-like retreat. Here’s a little peek inside our AirBNB and the gorgeous design details that caught my eye!
