The York Project Kitchen & Dining Nook Reveal

The York Project Kitchen & Dining Nook Reveal

Design

We’re continuing our tour of the York Project in everyone’s favorite spaces in the house - the kitchen and dining nook! We really love this project for its stunning neutral palette that delivers a huge design impact and for its amazing open concept and flow.

If you caught last week’s reveal of the York Project Great Room, you know our goal was to create a beautiful home that flowed from space to space, with a neutral palette that pops. We continued this concept into the kitchen and dining nook by highlighting natural and textural design elements paired with brass to elevate the look.

We love the openness of this kitchen along with the amazing cabinetry on both sides giving the space a symmetrical look and focal point.

A classic white kitchen is still one of my favorite designs. The brass hardware, faucet, and pot-filler look stunning against the white cabinets and timeless subway tile.

Continuing into the dining nook, we knew this was the perfect space for a large round natural wood table - what better place to gather in the mornings before a busy day! This dining set from our House Sprucing furniture line works perfectly here.

I love the natural tones in the weave of the chairs with the slightly darker stripe along the back. And this chandelier gives just the right amount of elegance to this space.

When you have an open-concept home, space planning and furniture are super important. We love that we were able to bring in furniture from our House Sprucing line that coordinates so well throughout the kitchen, dining nook and the great room. Each piece was selected specifically for our clients, keeping in mind their young family and pets.

Thank you for coming along on our York Project Tour. We’ll be sharing more next week with the dining room and entry way!
