A New Remodel Meets Old World Charm

Introducing our Ft. Worth Project! We are so excited to finally reveal to you this beautiful Texas farmhouse with its many unique design details. So come on in as we give you a tour starting in the heart of the home, the kitchen!

This beautifully remodeled, French-inspired kitchen is layered with so many intentional and unique design details that speak to the overall vintage style of this country farmhouse. From the reclaimed bricks, circa the 1930s brought in from Chicago, to the beautiful La Cornue stove and vent hood, to the handcrafted and painted floor tile, each design detail was curated perfectly for a unique and timeless look.

The use of a variety of colors and tones throughout the kitchen keeps the space feeling light and bright, while at the same time, grounded. The beautiful amount of white perimeter cabinetry looks amazing next to the island with its rich wood stain in an evergreen color that’s good for now and years to come. And we love the touch of black on the cabinet that looks like a hutch that leans into the vintage nature of the home.

We love the mix of materials in this kitchen. The soapstone countertops on the perimeter along with the Calcutta Gold countertops on the island are so stunning. The island also has the most amazing farmhouse sink that is in the Calcutta Gold as well. The brass faucet and pot filler, the mix of gold pulls, and matte black hardware are all so beautiful together. And we can’t get over the gorgeous globe pendants with the milk glass, making them feel so smooth and timeless.

The ladder is such a fun feature in this kitchen and the seating at the end of the island is a unique way to have intentional seating connected to the kitchen without having counter stools. The vintage rug is the perfect touch and highlights the beautiful hand-painted tiles. We were able to accessorize the space with unique pieces, that aren’t only beautiful, but are intentional and can be used every day, like the beautiful dishes and baskets to get fresh herbs and plants from the garden.

We’re excited to reveal the next space of our Ft. Worth Project! Stay tuned and be sure to follow along with us on Instagram where we bring home inspiration to you every day.
