Our Top 3 Kitchen Styling Tips

Lifestyle | March 30, 2023

When it comes to styling, one of our most frequently asked questions by both clients and customers is “what are you go to pieces.” Truth is, every accessory that we’ve selected for the HS store can be considered one of our go-to’s as every piece can be uniquely styled to fit eery home and space, but as with anything, we tend to have our favorites and today we’re sharing our top 3 styling tips for the kitchen along with some of our most-loved pieces by our design team, clients and customers. We hope this post will serve as a little inspiration to help you spruce up your space with staples that will never go out of style!

Our Kitchen Styling Tips

TIP #1: DRESS UP YOUR COUNTERTOPS

Spruce up your countertops by layering cutting boards, incorporating art & displaying a recipe from your favorite cookbook on a cookbook stand. By incorporating layers, it will help your countertops look full without feeling too cluttered. Risers are a great way to add height and further layer your look!

TIP #2: ELEVATE YOUR STAPLES

Every kitchen needs hand soap, dish towels, salt & pepper shakers and a sugar jar - so why not make them pretty! Elevate these everyday staples for a fresh look. For hand soap, we absolutely love Compagnie de Provence - their soaps come in the prettiest bottles and every scent is heavenly. If you haven’t had a chance to try these soaps, stop by the HS Store and see what all the hype is about - we have several scents in stock!

TIP #3: STYLISH STORAGE

Keep your countertops clutter-free with stylish storage solutions. Display your fresh fruit in a wooden dough bowl and stow away bread in a decorative box. Pitchers are another great storage option to display rolling pins, utensils or fresh florals!
