It’s been a minute since we’ve shared a kitchen renovation and we’re so thrilled to be jumping back on the blog today to share a very special project… say hello to our Mindy McKnight Kitchen Renovation!

Mindy is such a dear friend and it has ben a joy for our team to work alongside her to help bring her great ideas to life and transform her kitchen space to give it a fresh, new look.

Mindy came to us about a year ago after her dishwasher flooded their kitchen, ruining her lower cabinetry and the hardwood floors in the kitchen. Working with a rather blank slate, we were so excited to jump on board this project and work alongside Mindy to bring her incredible eye for design and overall vision to life. The final result? A beautiful Modern European masterpiece!

We really wanted to make a statement with the kitchen island as it is the centerpiece of the room. To do so, we selected a beautiful concrete-like porcelain slab and created a thick waterfall design. We love this modern take on countertop and the coolness it adds to the space - perfectly balancing out the warm tones of the brass accents carried throughout.

For the island cabinets, we incorporated a stunning fluted detail onto the white oak for a custom, elevated look. We love how this detail brings so much texture into the space and creates a special moment on the island.

We selected beautiful brass finishes for the light fixtures, plumbing and hardware to add warmth to the space while keeping that modern, European feel and we couldn’t love the final result more!
