WEEKLY EDIT

The weather is heating up here in TX and we’re getting ready for the summer season ahead! This week on the Weekly Edit, we’re sharing a look at one of our luxury cabin projects up in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, recapping our Designer Lunch & Learn event and sharing a few fitness tips that have us feeling inspired for the summer season ahead.

HS PROJECT: BROKEN BOW CABIN

We have been so busy working on some amazing projects up in Broken Bow, OK - sourcing furnishings, accessories and putting together design boards to bring these beautiful luxury cabins to life! Here’s a peek at one of the cabins that is in the works - we can’t wait to get back up there to install the furniture & accessories and put the finishing touch on this cabin. It’s been so much fun working on these various projects up in Broken Bow and designing unique experience driven spaces that both our clients and their guests can enjoy. This is your reminder that you don’t need a new construction or remodeling project in order to work with HS, we take on furnishing and accessorizing projects of all sizes all across the U.S. and would love the chance to work with you on your home - no matter the size or location. HS STORE: DESIGNER LUNCH & LEARN EVENT

We hosted our first ever Designer Lunch & Learn event and it couldn’t have been more fun! We had several local designers & industry professionals join us from all across the DFW area and it was such a pleasure to be surrounded by so many like-minded creative individuals. We brought in lunch and had a roundtable discussion about design trends, industry topics and introduced our new Designer Trade Program. When we were designing the HS Store and coming up with the concept for our space, one of the most important things on my list was to create a space where we could host events and bring the community together. Seeing our space filled with so many talented and wonderful people just filled my heart and I am so excited for our next event. If you’re a local designer or industry professional and weren’t able to make this event, don’t you worry - we plan to host this event at least once a quarter and would love to have you join us! INSPIRED BY: FITNESS

It’s that time of year where summer is right around the corner and I’ve been feeling inspired to kick things into gear in preparation for the season ahead and hired a personal trainer! One tip I’ve learned from this past week is the importance of scheduling your workouts. Between my work schedule and the kids’ schedule, it’s easy to loose track of time or put off workouts but by incorporating them into my schedule, I’ve found that it holds me accountable and keeps my days consistent. Starting with small, attainable fitness and nutrition goals is another great tip I’ve incorporated into my wellness journey - you don’t have to dive in deep right from the start, but instead, set yourself up for success with a few smaller goals that will help to keep you on track and feel rewarding once they’re reached. It’s amazing how good it feels to take the time for yourself to exercise and fuel your body with nutritious foods and I can’t wait to continue with my fitness/wellness journey!

FAVORITE THINGS: FITNESS FAVORITES

Inspired by my fitness/wellness journey, this weeks favorite things feature a few of my favorite fitness picks that have kept me on track to reach my wellness goals. After all, there is nothing more motivating than a cute new workout outfit!
