The Weekly Edit is back, and what a week to kick it off. This past week has been jam-packed with so many exciting things at House Sprucing. We were so honored to be invited to be a Stylemaker for the third year at the Better Homes and Gardens Stylemakers Event in New York City. We were so inspired by their editors and panelist speakers and of course took in all the beautiful design details in NYC. We’ve also been sharing a project that’s been YEARS in the making - The Texas Ranch Project is a dream home. HS Update: Better homes and gardens Stylemakers event
We were so honored to be selected as a Better Homes and Gardens Stylemaker for the third year in a row. This annual event is always so inspiring and wonderful. It’s a privilege to get to learn about the latest and greatest industry trends from powerhouse speakers at this conference. One of my favorite design takeaways was that lacquer-painted ceilings will be having a huge moment this next year - it’s a great way to make a space pop and feel elevated. We’re also seeing contrasting piping on furniture as a big trend, which I can’t wait to incorporate into some of our design projects!
Favorite Things: HS Sofas
Finding the perfect sofa for people never gets old at the HS Store. So much of our lives are lived on these sofas - from family movie nights to playing games with friends, life happens in the living room! I’m always inspired by the high energy, beautiful exteriors, and vibes of New York City. Our event was held at the beautiful Nine Orchard Hotel, which had a stunning design that left me feeling so inspired. I mean, just check out this beautiful spot in the photos below! We had the best weather to kick off autumn while there, and got to enjoy some of my favorite foodie spots in the city - I highly recommend Venchi Gelato and Din Tai Fung for the next time you’re in New York!
