Weekly Edit - 2/25

A look into a dream home remodel, a quick girls' trip to California, a press feature in My Domaine, and sharing some of my travel day must-haves - read all about it in the Weekly Edit!

HS project: Walnut Hill Remodel Updates

The HS team has been working hard at creating a light and airy feel to a remodel project that previously had very dark and heavy design features within it. Our amazing clients wanted us to lean into the signature HS style of a new traditional feel with modern touches. We love seeing the beautiful design details coming to life with the arch on the cabinets on each side of the fireplace and how open the concept is through the kitchen. A favorite of ours in this home is all the different lighting that is married together in this house. Each area has an appropriate lighting moment that balances the subtle drama with the other design layers. We have loved working on this project for our amazing clients and can't wait to continue to take you along on the progress of this home!

Press Feature: My Domaine

Paint makes all the difference in the final touches of a space and we're thrilled to be sharing our thoughts on why you should paint your dining room ceiling in a press feature with my Domaine! I love to play off of the furniture color in the room when deciding on a ceiling color. It creates so much depth in the space and pulls the room together in a unique way. Click on the link below to read the feature and learn more about what this does for your space!

Inspired By: Girls Trip To California

I took Saylor on a quick girls' trip to Disneyland this week to celebrate her birthday with her cousins and see all the Disney princesses. She's definitely in her Disney princess era and I can't get enough of it. It was so fun to run around Disneyland and see her bask in all the magic there is. With our California roots, we can never get enough of going back to California and we just really enjoy the time in the sun, sand, and all the beauty that it has.

Favorite Things: Travel Day Essentials

With traveling to California this week, it only seemed fitting to share my favorite travel essentials to help make travel easy. Here are a few of my travel staples that kept me both stylish and prepared during our travel day!
