While we do projects all over the world, our main office is located in the DFW area. Something that DFW has an abundance of is homes that are getting older and need a little updating. We love getting to come into a dated space and create a completely new room, where our clients can thrive. Kitchen remodeling is one of the jobs that we do most and today we wanted to share one of our first remodels we did years ago, back in the day when it was just Tyson and I and our van full of tiny babies running from client meeting to site visit making it all happen! Our team has changed and grown in size since then but something that hasn’t changed is how evergreen our designs can feel. We love that even though this house was renovated years ago, it feels timeless and relevant. This is one of the reasons we call our signature look “The New Traditional” at House Sprucing because it will great for years to come.

This kitchen was feeling dark and gloomy when we first came in, with dated styles and coloring. We knew that our goal was to make it brighter and lighter, while still feeling inviting and being functional for a family. For this job, we painted the cabinets with one of our favorites paints from PPG called ‘delicate white’ and created a new island and cabinet design.

We love creating spaces that reflect the client’s personality, and for this project, that meant incorporating black, their favorite color.
