Monroe Project Kitchen & Dining Nook Reveal

Monroe Project Kitchen & Dining Nook Reveal

Design

This week we are launching the Monroe Project. We are so excited to share this with y’all. We had such a wonderful experience designing for such a lovely family. The design aesthetic for this home is an elevated, New Traditional vibe. We loved accomplishing that style in this home and helping our clients bring this beautiful vision to life. The first space we are revealing is the heart of the home, the kitchen and dining nook. Of course this is one of our favorite spaces because this is where the family spends so much time in the home! Things we loved about this kitchen were bringing in furnishings and accessories to play off of the beautiful foundation that the home had to offer, such as mixed woods and painted cabinetry in the kitchen, beautiful countertops and exposed beams.

The dining nook in this home is such a special space to start and end the day. The wood table in this dining space is so beautiful. The base is a sculptural design that we can’t get enough of. We paired it with clean modern lines and comfort with these beautiful House Sprucing chairs.

Our client loves to curate art with her work and in her home. She introduced us to Brandon Mike, an Austin based artist. It was a joy to work with Brandon and our client to curate the perfect pieces for this space to hang. We love the moody vibes that this pair of 3D art brings to this nook. We have more Brandon Mike art that was custom made for this home in other spaces that we can’t wait to share with you.

One of the most important details about filling a home with furnishings is having the right scale and dimensions. These kitchen stools really pop the island and bring great texture to the space. We love how the stools pair so beautifully with all the styling on the island! All of these accessories are sold at our House Sprucing store in Dallas. We love to create different moments of styling throughout each space to achieve a layered design. We hope you enjoyed this space as much as we did, we can’t wait to share more from this project with you, soon!
