We are so excited to start to show you our Lakeview project today! This is a new construction project with Newport Homes, which we are the in-house design team for, and is extra special because it's being built for one of my dearest friends! We never would have thought that when we met during stroller bootcamp years ago, that the team and I would have the privilege of creating such a special home for them.

For the kitchen in this house, we were able to incorporate a venthood that we've been dreaming up for a long time - it has shiplap on it, that looks perfect with the warm floating shelves near it. We love high contrast as a design element, so we brought in a black sink and black bottom cabinets. The backsplash is a Tumble Tile that has a great texture to it. This is still a work in progress, so we can't wait for you to see the finished space, once we bring in pendant lighting, sconce lighting and bar stools.

This home has a prep kitchen off the main kitchen, which is something a lot of our clients have been dreaming up lately! This family loves to cook and entertain, so they have a separate space where they can do a lot of the messy parts of things. We used a butcher block island and great open cabinetry where they can store fruits and veggies.

We had a lot of fun mixing styles in the primary bathroom. We love the modern lighting and aren’t the tile and soaking tub in this space dreamy?

The primary closet has a laundry room IN THE SPACE! If that's not the most practical thing I've ever heard of, I don't know what is.

Keep a lookout for phase two, which will include furnishings and styling once it's all installed!
