MEET HEATHER & TYSON

Co-Founders and Principal Designer

House Sprucing is led by husband and wife duo Heather and Tyson Fujikawa. Since getting married in 2007, they’ve been designing their homes together as they’ve moved all around the world from Los Angeles, CA to Verona, Italy to their current home in Dallas, TX. Throughout the years, they've shared their home transformations on social media which led to national and international media recognition and the opportunity to co-star in their own cable tv show, Design Twins, which currently streams on Amazon Prime. Inspired by their travels, the Fujikawa's have built their design business on the foundation of joyful living with the overall goal of designing spaces where their clients can thrive.

Step one

Discovery Call & Estimate

After you submit your online inquiry, we will contact you to schedule a phone call to discuss your project and design needs in more detail. We will then provide an estimate for your project and outline the expected timeline for commencement.

Step Two

Conceptual Design

Following our initial consultation, we will meet with you to delve deeper into your personal design preferences. During this phase, we will establish an artistic direction and map out the next steps for your project.

Step Three

Design Selection & Ordering

Once the scope and vision of your project are defined, we will begin the space planning and sourcing process. This could involve selecting light fixtures, tiles, wallpaper, paint, and slabs to furnishings, accessories, and more. This stage includes presentations that could range from a single-room design to a full-service custom home project. No matter the project size, each room will be designed with intention and functionality throughout the journey. Once design selections are confirmed, orders will be placed.

Step Four

Execution

After finalizing your project details and placing orders, our team will manage all subsequent steps to ensure every aspect of your project is on track. Our designers will collaborate with your builders/contractors for new constructions and remodels. We’ll arrange the delivery and installation of furnishings and schedule a session to style your space, adding the final touches that will transform your house into your dream home!
